Hello.

I’m an Irish-born, New York City-bred, and Amsterdam-based creative leader.

I elevate brands, foster design-forward cultures, and drive growth through brand consistency and recognition in industries as varied as publishing, entertainment & streaming media, SaaS, and financial services. I make — and build teams who make — global brands, strategy, systems, environments, and 360° campaigns in the junction where human-centric creative thinking, operational efficiencies, and data meet.

I began my career leading the internal creative teams of entertainment and media brands such as New York Media, Rolling Stone, SPIN Magazine, and the pioneering music streaming service Grooveshark. Most recently I was Creative Director at Amsterdam-based payment services provider — Mollie — where I built their internal creative studio, brought creative talent in-house, and developed consistent brand systems and scalable creative processes to position the company for international expansion.

Prior to that, I was Chief Creative Officer at Yext — a B2B SaaS company based in New York City specializing in AI search. During my six years there, I built and scaled their in-house creative studio and stewarded the overarching creative experience and brand strategy through an IPO in 2017, a global expansion, and a corporate rebranding in 2019. (I helped to grow Yext from approximately 400 employees and a valuation of $500 million in 2015 to 1,400 global employees and a market cap of almost $2 billion in 2021.)

Before all that, I founded a rock band called Rubyhorse. That journey took me from Ireland to the United States, where we signed record deals with both Interscope and Island Records, had a #1 album (for a minute), and a couple of top-40 singles. One of the highlights of that period was collaborating with a chap named George Harrison on a track called Punchdrunk.

Other random highlights include being the official photographer for the Love Hope Strength Foundation’s 2009 Kilimanjaro expedition and as tour manager for the 80’s British new wave band Bow Wow Wow.

My experience is firmly rooted in creative, but I also appreciate the value of authentic leadership, clear strategy, and operational efficiency when building highly successful (and happy) creative teams. Finding and developing talent, scaling teams, and consistently delivering creative excellence — that converts — is what I do best.
